Environmental Problems and Solutions
We have been talking about the Environment in classes.
What environmental problems is Planet Earth facing nowadays? Are there any solutions?
Watch the videos below and think about this.
1. What are the main environmental problems mentioned in the video? What are the possible solutions?
2. Does Planet Earth look healthy in this video? What is destroying it? Are there any ways of solving them? Give some examples.
3. Do you know, what does carbon footprint mean? Can you explain its meaning after watching this video?
After watching the three videos can you explain what is destroying our planet and what are you doing to protect it?

Every year on the third Monday of January, Americans celebrate the life and legacy of the extraordinary Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK). It is thanks to the vision and courage of this tireless clergyman turned civil rights activist that America is today a nation where everyone has equal rights, regardless of race, color, creed, or national origin.
Minister, saint, hero, civil rights activist - These are the words often used to describe Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - However, in light of President Barack Obama the word that seems to fit [him] perfectly, is visionary - The man who had the foresight to see that America could one day transform into a nation where everyone is equal, regardless of race, color or creed. So who was this amazing man that single handedly pearheaded America's civil rights movement?
